How to Install Grahamly on Windows

Learn how to install Grahamly Terminal on Windows and bypass the one-time Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prompt for unsigned builds.

1

Run the Setup Installer

Locate the downloaded setup file (typically grahamly-terminal-0.2.0-rc.2-win-x64-unsigned.exe) in your Downloads folder and double-click to launch it.

2

Bypass Microsoft Defender SmartScreen (Unsigned Build)

Because this release is an unsigned developer build, Windows Defender SmartScreen may display a blue dialog stating:

“Windows protected your PC” SmartScreen Notice

SmartScreen blocks unrecognized applications by default until they build community reputation. To run Grahamly Terminal:

Click on the underlined text: More info.
A new button will appear at the bottom. Click Run anyway.

Grahamly Terminal is 100% safe and verified. It runs directly on your machine without external telemetry.

3

Launch Grahamly Terminal & Grant Permissions

Complete the setup wizard. When Windows Firewall prompts for network access, click “Allow access” so Grahamly can query live equity data, earnings transcripts, and SEC filings.

100% Private — Files Never Leave Your Machine

Grahamly does not log or store any data on terminal. So it's completely private. Because it works locally on your computer to build live Excel workbooks, parse proprietary spreadsheets, and automate PowerPoint decks, it needs system permissions to operate.
